Hi, I am Barbara Cox, a seasoned professional with a rich background in teaching, safety, and management, bolstered by a Bachelor of Science degree. Our initiative thrives on the unique strength of our team — a statistician that will be using the data collected to work towards her PhD and to help to promote change as we identify common underlying issues, a communications major that will be sharing updates about our progress, and a scheduler that will be reaching out to groups of volunteers comprised of mothers and daughters.
Our volunteers are not just participants; they are advocates willing to engage in private and candid discussions about their family experiences. Through these conversations, we aim to uncover and understand the root causes of family health issues. Our commitment is fueled by the hope that these insights will not only enhance our own understanding but also inspire and motivate public officials across various sectors.
Our Goal: To empower families and encourage meaningful changes in laws and practices to help strengthen the very fabric of our communities.
